About Dr. McLaren
Barbara McLaren, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with extensive experience in women’s health and wellness. Through her work at New Beginnings OB/GYN, Dr. McLaren is honored to assist women of all ages from in and around Houston, Texas.
Education has always played a central role for Dr. McLaren. She began her studies at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Medicine, formerly known as the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Sciences at City College of New York, in New York City. She went on to complete her medical degree at Albany Medical College in New York.
Following medical school, Dr. McLaren completed an internship and residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. She continues to seek out opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge through continuing education.
Dr. McLaren spends considerable time and effort remaining abreast of advancements in medical technology. She is dedicated to bringing the very best diagnostic and treatment platforms to the practice.
